Carolin Voß
Student Assistant
Carolin Voß is a bachelor student in Geographies of International Development, Focus on Africa (GEFA) at the University of Bayreuth. In the study programme, concepts of ‘development’ and ‘modernity’ are problematized, and colonial continuities examined. In October 2019, Carolin took up the additional study program of Intersectionality Studies and Diversity Competences in order to deepen the understanding of historical discriminatory structures and their relations to capitalism. The work as student assistant provides valuable experience regarding Carolins interest in a master’s program of economic geography.
