Amin Samman is Lecturer in International Political Economy at City, University of London. His research focuses on the temporal and historical dimensions of contemporary capitalism, with an emphasis on money, finance, and technology. He is co-founder and editor of the open-access journal, Finance and Society, as well as co-founder and chair of the Finance and Society Network (FSN), which publishes monthly newsletters and facilitates regular events, including a major annual conference. His latest publication is History in Financial Times (Stanford University Press, 2019).
